Christian Aid Week starts 12th May. For decades Christ Church delivered and collected envelopes locally. Those days have sadly passed.So we are raising funds in different ways and are hosting a Coffee, Cake and Stall morning for Christian Aid on Saturday 18th May 10:00am - 11:30am (*Save the date*). It would appear that if you have a Tiscali or Talk Talk email address you may not have received the Keeping In Touch Edition 80. I received bounce backs from about 8 such email addresses last night. It’s rather boggy out there at the moment! So we have decided that our next reflective walk will be on a decent path at Scammonden Water. Sunday 14th April at 2pm. We will meet at the Low Platt Lane/Wood Edge car park (the main one at the top). CHINSTEP Walk - Ilkley - Wednesday 10th AprilWe will meet at Christ Church at 10:00am as normal or at Denton Road, Ilkley (LS29 0AA) at 10:50 traffic permitting. Please park near the Ilkley Old Bridge, where Denton Road meets Clifford Road and Langbar Road, this where the ice cream van parks in the summer.This walk is a 3 and a bit mile walk around Ilkley. There are no stiles to negotiate but there is an incline in Middleton Woods, where we are hoping that the bluebells might be starting to show. I suggest boots\wellingtons and sticks due the ongoing wet weather, although the forecast does look good for the day. We have booked lunch at the Riverside Hotel Pub, so please can you let me know if you can stay to lunch, so that I can let them know the numbers nearer the time.Looking forward to seeing you all on the 10th. ...
