In a service that is based on the themes of love, hope, faithfulness, sacrifice and trust, the joy of the couple is shared and their mutual commitment is witnessed by family and friends in the presence of a loving God. In marriage a legal contract is made between any two persons, regardless of gender.
It is also possible to have a marriage that has previously been solemnised in a civil ceremony blessed in an act of Christian worship in church. This ceremony is also based on the themes of love, hope, faithfulness, sacrifice and trust.
